It's been a tough week. Yvonne is sick, we ministered to a family as they mourned for their still-born son, and a friend just found out she has cancer. Please lift those prayers up with us.

Yesterday I went to the funeral of an amazing 92 year old Christian woman named Viola Boyer. Her life was such a testimony of God's love and it was a tremendous blessing to hear the stories of how she "carried her cross" daily. I saw a friend there and enjoyed hearing her share about how Viola was a Sunday school teacher and invited her and her brother to church a long time ago. Today her and her brother are both Sunday school teachers. Viola has left a lasting legacy Yesterday was also the first time that Evie, Yvonne, and I walked with the cross as a family. We were blessed to pray and minister with many people. A young man named Bryan gave his heart to the Lord and we were privileged to lead him in a prayer of salvation. It was a beautiful day and we are so excited about the calling that the Lord has given us. Also, we just ordered a shofar from TheTallitMan in preparation for our trip to Washington DC for September 11th.

Josh and Bekah's Wedding

Wow, I am so excited for Josh and Bekah's marriage. I believe they are going to be a bright light to other couples in Jesus' Name! I've been blessed to journey with them, to council them, and last night to perform their marriage ceremony. Please lift them up in prayer because I know the enemy would love to attack them. Thankful that they are victorious in Christ! Hallelujah!!!

9/11 Million Muslim March

During my walk across America I met a fellow cross bearer named Lance Rowe. Connecting with him has also helped me connect with other cross bearers as well. We've created a group on Facebook to enable us to pray for and encourage one another. A few weeks ago, the group brought to my attention that the Islamic community was planing a "Million Muslim March" on September 11th, 2013. In response to this protest (and to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11), American bikers began planning a "Two Million Biker" rally. They were denied their permit to protest in the Capital but rode around DC nevertheless. Our group of cross bearers felt led to intercede over the day so we began an event titled "One Hundred Crosses" with the intention to pray for every Muslim, Biker, and fellow man in DC today. Trevor, Caleb, and I built crosses yesterday for this event and then this morning we left for Washington with my wife, Yvelisse, and daughter, Yvonne. We arrived...
