Another Night on Bourbon

Image
I'm glad that all of the Glory goes to God, because then there's no pressure to perform. My heart breaks for these people on Bourbon Street and in my flesh I want to just slap them around until their eyes are opened. But then my spirit-man reminds me of John 6:44 "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. " Tonight there were two gay guys that were kissing obnoxiously in-front of the crosses. God, I pray that You reveal Truth to them! There was also a man who pulled up a chair and sat in-front of us in the street with a sign that said, "give me money for weed and beer." It began to rain and the street cleared up. I hope it's a sign that God will wash and purify the French Quarter!!

EVANGELIST BOOTCAMP: New Orleans, LA

Image
Thank You Jesus, Thank You Jesus, Thank You Jesus!!! I feel like since my plane touched down in New Orleans I've been at evangelist boot-camp. Seconds after disembarking from my plane, Pastor David Johnson and Brother Stacy Mitchell scooped me up and took me to Bourbon Street. We picked up some crosses that are specially designed for the French Quarter (they're plastic and insulated) and began ministering to hundreds of people in the streets. Walking down Bourbon Street I was hit with numerous beads as people were throwing them at the cross from balconies. There were about ten street preachers in total and we had three crosses. Praise God, seven people repented and gave their heart to the Lord!! Man, the ministry there is heart breaking. So many women try to find worth in the attention their body gets...well God has worth in them that is found in Jesus Christ! People drunk, high, and up to their head in sin would say "Yea, I'm Christian; I love Jesus." If y

Josh and Bekah's Wedding

Image
Wow, I am so excited for Josh and Bekah's marriage. I believe they are going to be a bright light to other couples in Jesus' Name! I've been blessed to journey with them, to council them, and last night to perform their marriage ceremony. Please lift them up in prayer because I know the enemy would love to attack them. Thankful that they are victorious in Christ! Hallelujah!!!

One week till NOLA

Please pray with us as the Lord is leading my nephew, Trevor , and I to minister in New Orleans and CrossWalk with Raven Ministries Annual Mardi Gras Outreach . We're praying for wisdom, discernment, strength and provision for this trip. On the way back we plan to visit the South Carolina School of Leadership for a men's conference! Stay tuned at www.CrossWalkMinistry.org !! Lord, let there be a bountiful harvest in New Orleans. I know the ministry has already been fruitful but we are expecting amazing breakthroughs, that blind eyes are opened and that hearts are ready to receive You. Holy Spirit, arrange divine appointments and give us the words to say, for Your glory! Let chains be broken and The Kingdom of God be advanced, in Jesus' Name, amen!! I've booked a one-way ticket to New Orleans that arrives 9:30pm on February 22nd.

Week In Review

Image
On Saturday, Evie and I conducted pre-marital counseling for a couple getting married this week. Then on Sunday we counseled another couple as well. After Sunday's session, I met with a family in Pottstown and we did some street evangelism. Even though it was snowing, many people were still out walking around the downtown area. We were blessed to pray with several people, including a young woman named Moriah, who gave her life to the Lord!! Monday, Evie and I hosted a couple's night. It was a fun time fellowshipping with people at a similar stage in life as ourselves. Then, Tuesday we took a van load to MorningStar Fellowship for their Celebrate Recovery program. It's been humbling allowing God to shape me through that program and seeing friends and family grow there as well. Wednesday, Evie and I took Yvonne to Skippack to meet up with a woman for lunch. Frank had the honor of witnessing to this woman while we were CrossWalking in Lansdale last month. God's gr

Frank's first solo

Image
This is a short but very powerful post. Frank just went on his first solo crosswalk today. He walked into Pottstown and upon returning was ecstatic about what God had done and how he was used to witness to people. I'm thankful for what God's doing in Frank's life :)

Reading, PA

Image
My nephew, Trevor, text'd me and asked if I was CrossWalking. We spoke briefly and felt led to witness in Reading, PA. Frank, Trevor and I parked at the Sovereign Center and walked in different directions in order the reach as much of the city as possible.   At the end of our walk we took this shot at the Pagoda, one of the more well-known/iconic sites in the City. We pray that as the crosses overlooked the city, that the Spirit of God would also hover over Reading and open people's eyes to the Love of Christ.

Allentown, PA

Image
I was invited to speak a the chapel of Lehigh Valley Christian High School. The message was based on the CrossWalk across America in 2010. I tried to encourage the children to "carry their cross" by sharing God's love. Frank gave his testimony at the beginning the the chapel. It was his first time public speaking and he did a great job! Afterwards we CrossWalked in Allentown, PA.

Plymouth Meeting, PA

You can just barely see a guy walking toward me on the sidewalk. He was the first person I spoke with in Plymouth. He was on his way to school when he saw the cross and said he couldn't help but stop to talk. He is a newer Christian and had many questions about the Bible. We had a great talk and I was blessed to pray him on his way. It was freeeeezing cold so it was a big thing for him to park and walk up to me. While I was walking I passed Plymouth's Journey Church. This was unplanned but I loved attending services at Schwenksville's Journey Church. They were one of the first churches I visited when I began "church hopping" as a new Christian. I thank God for the growth and provision that He's blessed Journey Church with!
